PR: The finalists are ready

Three pianists are ready to compete in the Grieg Competition Final on Saturday 8 September.

Anton Igubnov (22) from Russia, Mamikon Nakhapetov (30) from Georgia and Sasha Grynyuk (29) from Ukraine are ready for the Final of the 13th International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition in the Grieghall in Bergen, Norway.

The Final will start at 18.00 CEST on Saturday September 8, and will be streamed live at www.griegcompetition.com/live

CANDIDATES AND PROGRAM FOR THE FINAL
Saturday September 8 in the Grieg Hall in Bergen
1800-2000: Final with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra
2000-2030: Announcement of winners, Prize Ceremony

The finalists will give solo performances with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Grieg’s own orchestra.

1st Prize in the competition is 30.000 euro. In addition the 1st Prize winner will get:
- An engagement for a number of public concerts at Troldhaugen during the summer of 2013 as "The Pianist of Week".
- A solo recital in the Bergen International Festival, Spring 2013.
- A solo recital in the University Hall of Oslo, Spring 2013.

Audiences in the hall and online will have the opportunity to cast votes for the audience prize.
